Masha Novoselova gets caught in the act at Behnaz Sarafpour. I used a Yashica T5 here. I prefer working without the flash to get the nice colors and slightly blurry movement.

Kamila Filipcikova looking a little fed up at Y-3—and it's only week one!

This is a shot from Spanish designer Estrella Archs' Paris show. I used a Canon 20D with a 50mm Meyer Gorlitz lens. I like playing with depth by finding gaps through foreground objects. This is shot through the plastic-wrapped clothing hanging on the dressing rails.

Myf Shepherd listens very intently backstage at Chanel.

Zuzana Gregorova only looking upset (maybe it's the hair?) at Sonia Rykiel.

The lineup: in Polaroid and real-life form at Rodarte.

Kinga Rajzak backstage at Rodarte. Not sure if she's trying to kill a fly…

A lovely profile shot at Temperley London.

Another shot from Estrella Archs, this time of the gravity-defying hair they gave some of us.

Zuzanna Krzatala catches up with Skye Stracke before Karen Walker.

Marina Peres looking every bit the Gothic beauty at Ruffian. This is shot on a digital SLR but with a Zeiss Flektogon lens. There was hardly any light available for the picture, which made for such a pleasant feeling compared to blasting her with flash.

I caught Natasha Poly in a pensive moment at Sonia Rykiel. This was also taken with the Meyer Gorlitz lens. I like taking photos of the girls when they're not paying attention to me. Here, Natasha was sitting in front of a black curtain and was focusing on another photographer who was shooting her.

Suvi Koponen gives me a knowing look as she gets her hair done at Jeremy Scott. I took this through the dirty mirror and all the lights gave it a nice reddish-yellow glow.

Deborah Smaniotto looks calm at Gucci (but notice the blurred chaos behind her).

Backstage at Atsuro Tayama. This is one way to remember your order!
